As part of the technical support provided to VLB associate member Cervecería Kunstmann, two technical trainings took place between July 1st and 4th in Valdivia, in the training room of Cervecería Kunstmann.
The technical trainings were conducted by Roberto Biurrun, VLB's Southern Cone Coordinator and Senior Brewing Technology Advisor. On this occasion, 22 participants had the opportunity to delve into the interesting world of the brewing process, more specifically in the area of fermentation, yeast handling and filtration, while the other group of 12 participants also learned about the brewing process in general, keg handling and dispense equipment.
In the words of Roberto Biurrun: ‘I found, as on previous occasions, people highly committed to what they do, eager to learn even more, something that comforted me as a brewmaster and teacher, and which undoubtedly made both trainings very dynamic and participative’. Both trainings were conducted in Spanish.
Cervecería Kunstmann was the first Latin American brewery to join VLB in 2018.
