Service/Biological Laboratory
- Our Biological Laboratory offers microbiological services and research for the brewing and beverage industry:
- Microbiological analyses (classical and molecular biological methods)
- Species-specific identification of bacterial and fungal contaminants
- Delivery of pure culture yeasts from the VLB's own yeast bank
- Production and new development of culture media for microbiology
- PCR analyses for (quantitative) detection of harmful and cultured organisms
- Determination of the general state of hygiene as part of operational control
- Microbiological training in the company or in the Biological Laboratory of the VLB
Accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the test procedures specified in the appendix to the accreditation certificate.
