General information

The next VLB Ibero-American Symposium will take place in Mexico City, Hotel Marquis Reforma Hotel & Spa, 2 to 4 September 2024. 

Since 2008, VLB organizes this technical conference, especially focused on the Ibero-American beer sector. The 14th VLB Ibero-American Symposium on Brewing & Filling Technology will be held on this occasion in Mexico City, including a technical visit to the Heineken Brewery in Toluca (by invitation of Heineken Mexico).

Technical Sessions: 

  • Situation of the Latin American beer market
  • Raw materials: Barley, malt, adjuncts and hops
  • Brewing process: Innovations and improvements in the brewing process
  • Filling, packaging and logistics of beer and beverages
  • Environment aspects 

This symposium will be held in English and Spanish with simultaneous translation.

  • Participants from breweries: 1100 €*  (VLB reserves the right to verify this information)
  • Participants from supplier companies (incl. malting factories): 1550 € *
  • Students (proof of studies required): 100 €*

Payment in Euro will be processed on our behalf by the payment service provider nets/Easy Paylink. This guarantees the security of the transaction. We accept Mastercard, Visa and Paypal.

After processing your registration, you will receive an email from nets-pay.link@sec.nets-pay.link with the invoice and further instructions for payment processing. Upon receipt of registration, you will receive an automatic confirmation. Subsequently, we will send you an invoice and payment instructions. For payments in euros, both the invoice and the email with the payment link will be sent at the beginning of August.

*The payment with Peso mexicano (MXN) is only available for participants from Mexico, price plus local VAT. You will receive an invoice in MXN by PR1MA Desarrolladora de Exposiciones, S. de RL de C.V.
The amount in MXN will be applied according to the exchange rate on the day of registration. All other participants will receive the invoice in Euro directly by VLB Berlin.
Upon receipt of registration, you will receive an automatic confirmation. For cancellations received within 6 weeks prior to the start of the event, a fee of 150 € plus tax will be charged. For cancellations received between 6 and 3 weeks before the start of the event, a refund of 30 % of the registration fee plus taxes will be made. For cancellations after this date, as well as in case of no-show, no refund will be possible. Name changes are possible at any time.
