Founded in 1947, the company plans and designs water treatment plants with a focus on membrane technology (reverse osmosis and ultrapure water plants). In addition, classic plants for applications such as softening, filtration, dosing and storage are also realised. In addition to the pharmaceutical industry and medical technology, the company also has many years of experience in the food and beverage industry and has been part of the Belgian Pollet Water Group since 2006. Founded in 1722 in Berlin, Carl Kühne KG is one of the best-known and oldest food producers in Germany. The tenth-generation family business sees itself as a "veggie company" - long before this became a trend. In addition to its headquarters in Hamburg, Kühne operates five production sites in Germany and others in France, Poland and Turkey. The Bräugier Craft Brewery in Berlin was founded in 2017 by US American Brian Trauth and brewing and beverage technologist Johannes Dunkel. Under the motto "Brew beer. Enjoy beer. Improve beer. Study beer", they produce confident, great-tasting beers of high craft quality. Bräugier now runs two taprooms in Berlin-Friedrichshain and Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. In the latter, the beers are also developed and produced in their own microbrewery.

Konvoy, London, UK
Konvoy is all about stainless steel kegs. The company was founded in 2019 in Australia, where it says it has become the leading provider of keg pooling and tracking solutions in the brewing and beverage industry. In mid-2022, Konvoy expanded to Europe and aims to establish its innovative service offering there as well, ranging from short and long-term rental to maintenance and repair to sophisticated tracking applications.

Brew-Food A/S, Helsingör, Denmark
Brew-Food ApS is a young Danish start-up company. Founded in 2021 by Hermann Hambach, Brew-Food offers a new solution for producing alcohol-free beers. The target group is craft brewers and small and medium-sized breweries between 500 hl and 200,000 hl that are not willing or able to invest in their own dealcoholisation plant. The process conforms to the German Purity Law and is said to be superior to classic methods and easy to integrate into the production process at competitive operating costs. The beers produced should convince with real beer taste.

Thai Spirit Industry Co. Ltd. was founded in 2003 and initially specialised in the production of fruit wine-based mixed drinks. In 2019, the company, which is located around 60 km east of Bangkok, also entered the beer business and commissioned a brewery with a 50-hl brewhouse at the site. Craft beers in particular are produced there using the contract brewing method. Brewery training courses have already been held there together with the VLB.

VLB 2022 also welcomed a new member from the spirits sector: the Betz distillery from Waldstetten in Baden-Württemberg. Founded in 1895, the manufactory is now run by the fourth generation of the Betz family. The company is characterised by an exclusive range of whisky, gin, vodka and in-house noble spirits as well as liqueurs from the wooden barrel. In addition, the portfolio of fine distillates is rounded off with a wide range of delicatessen food.

PRECOGIT GmbH, based in Regensburg, is a young company with extensive experience in the industry. The focus is on the digitalisation of the process industry with special attention to the brewing and beverage industry. Fuerst Wiacek Brewery, Berlin, Germany
The Berlin craft brewery FUERST WIACEK become a VLB member in March 2022. Founded in 2016, the company sees itself as an adventurous, experimental and modern brewery. After its beginnings on a small scale, its own new brewing facility in Berlin-Siemensstadt was commissioned in 2021.
FUERST WIACEK does not operate its own taproom and is available in numerous bars, restaurants and specialist shops. In addition, the dynamic product portfolio, which is mainly offered in cans, is sold via the company's own web shop. Incidentally, the name of the brewery is derived from the names of the two founders and managing directors Lukasz Wiacek and Georg Fürst.
