The 6th China International Brewing Conference (CIBC) 2023 took place from 13-15 September 2023 in Qindao, PR China.

The event was hosted by the China Alcoholic Drinks Association and the China National Research Institute for Food Fermentation Industries, co-organised by Tsingtao Brewing Co. Among other experts, VLB Managing Director Dr. Josef Fontaine was also invited to give a presentation about trends in the brewing industry at the 6th China International Brewing Conference.

The conference included also the 1st (Qindao) International Summit on Innovation in Food Biomanufacturing. An excellent and very well attended conference. For us it was a great opportunity to reconnect to our friends from the Chinese brewing industry after the long (covid) break!
